It’s the first sunny Christmas in Brisbane in years and that means it’s perfect smoothie bowl weather because the Australian sun is flaming!
This is a super decadent yet healthy smoothie bowl that you can blend up for breakfast or for dessert! It’s packed with plant protein so it would also be a great post-workout meal too!

Ingredients
- ✅3-4 large ripe frozen bananas (350g)
- ✅2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- ✅2 tablespoons vegan vanilla protein powder (I used @macr0mike - discount code “amb-chen”)
- ✅1 tablespoon almond butter
- ✅1/3 cup non-dairy milk (I used almond milk)
- *Optional: liquid sweetener to taste e.g. maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Add the non-diary milk to your high speed blender. Then add in all the other ingredients.
- 2. Blend until thick, smooth and creamy
- 3. Transfer the nicecream to your favorite bowl (in my case, it was my @coconutbowls )
- 4. Decorate with toppings of your choice. My toppings were: @macr0mike peanut butter & choc biscuit almond butter and @purabon choc brownie protein ball
