t’s almost Christmas, so there is no better time than now to share this super EASY & SIMPLE rum ball recipe!
Rum balls traditionally contain condensed milk so my vegan version uses coconut condensed milk – which is just as delicious, if not even better than dairy condensed milk! I made these as a naughty sweet snack for a Christmas potluck at work and I hope you make these to share with your mates too.
Here is the recipe!

*note: if the mixture appears too soft, place it in the fridge for a while until it firms up more before rolling
Ingredients
- ✅250g plain biscuits (I used vegan, GF scotch fingers from @woolworths_au )
- ✅1 1/2 cups desiccated coconut
- ✅2 tablespoons rum
- ✅ 1/2 cup coconut condensed milk (I used @naturescharm )
- ✅ Desiccated coconut for rolling
Instructions
- 1. In a food processor, add in the biscuits & coconut and blitz until fine crumbs
- 2. Add in the rum and condensed milk and blitz until the mixture clumps together like cookie dough
- 3. Divide the mixture into 20 even portions and roll into balls. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut to coat.
- 4. Store the balls in the fridge until ready to serve
