Can anyone guess the secret healthy ingredient?
Nope, its NOT beans… it’s BANANA! 🍌
Okay so I thought of this idea because I happened to have a bucket of ripe bananas… and I’m genuinely shocked by how delicious these cups are. The banana provides a natural creaminess & sweetness that isn’t overpowering, and these cups have the perfect fudgy cookie-dough texture right out of the freezer!

Ingredients
- Cookie dough:
- ✅ 200g ripe bananas (~2 medium bananas)
- ✅ 100g vegan caramel protein powder (I used @macr0mike )
- ✅ 25g dairy-free chocolate, chopped
- Topping:
- ✅ 100g dairy-free chocolate, melted
Instructions
- 1. Line 5 cupcake holes with liners or alternatively use a silicone mould like I did
- 2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas very well until puréed
- 3. Add in the protein powder and keep using a fork to mash the powder into the bananas until a smooth cookie dough forms
- 4. Fold through the chocolate chunks
- 5. Divide the mixture into 5 portions and spoon it into the cupcake holes
- 6. Freeze for 2 hours until firm
- 7. Make the topping by melting the chocolate and drizzling even amounts over each cookie dough cup. Return to the freezer for 15 mins.
