Personally I love the flavour combination of cherry & chocolate – not the artificial cherry essence because it reminds me of cough syrup, but the real juicy fruit is amazing! (Although I also won’t judge you if artificial cherry is your thing too)

Ingredients
- ✅ 20g self raising flour
- ✅ 20g chocolate protein powder (I used @macr0mike choc hazelnut )
- ✅ 1 tablespoon granulated sweetener
- ✅ 2 tablesooons yoghurt ( I used almond)
- ✅ 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
- ✅ 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
- ✅ 2-3 cherries, pitted & diced
- *Optional: cherry essence
Instructions
- 1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees C/350 degrees F. Grease a ramekin with non-stick spray (mine was 8cm in diameter)
- 2. In a bowl mix together all the ingredients for the cake until no lumps remain
- 3. Transfer this to the ramekin, bake for 16-18 mins until a knife inserted comes out clean. Remove from the oven and serve.
- *Serving suggestions: with a scoop of icecream!
