CHOC MINT PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL

 When it’s a billion degrees outside and you look into your fridge and see leftover greens that you don’t want to waste – a refreshing green smoothie is the way to go! I love adding vegetables to my bowls because the sweetness of the fruit and protein powders really covers up the vegetables, so basically you’re adding a whole lot of extra nutrition without compromising taste
 
Here is the recipe:
 
CHOC MINT PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL 
 
INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 frozen bananas 
  • 1 zucchini, chopped and frozen
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • Big Handful of spinach 
  • Big handful of mint 
  • 1/4 cup almond milk 
  • * Optional: 1 tsp supergreens powder 
METHOD:
  1. Blend the smooth ingredients until smooth and no chunks of vegetables remain.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and top it using whatever you desire!
I used fresh fruit, dark chocolate, some peppermint granola to go with the theme, and a drizzle of chocolate sauce!
