CHINESE SESAME “TOSSED” NOODLES

This is an adaptation of my original tossed noodle recipe, using tahini instead of peanut butter! The tahini gives the sauce a unique richness and really highlights the sesame oil too, so definitely give this a try if peanut isn’t your thing or if you simply just like sesame!

Here is the recipe:
CHINESE SESAME TOSSED NOODLES
SERVES: 1
INGREDIENTS:
  • 100g wheat noodles (or noodles of choice)
  • Noodle Sauce:
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon tahini
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon maple syrup (or other liquid sweetener)
METHOD:
  1. Cook your noodles as per packet instructions
  2. In the meantime, make the sauce by whisking together all the ingredients.
  3. Toss the noodles in the sauce and serve hot!
I served the noodles with some satay tofu and steamed vegetables to make the meal more filling and nourishing 🙂

Enjoy guys! Defintely let me know if you try making these noodles!
