CINNAMON ROLL MICROWAVE PROTEIN OATCAKE (single-serve, oil-free)

** Cooking time can vary depending on the strength of your microwave and brand of protein powder you use
Ingredients
- Cake:
- 1/2 medium banana (~50g peeled weight)
- 1/2 cup oats
- 30g vegan vanilla protein powder ( I used @macr0mike )
- 3/4 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- 1. In a blender, add all the ingredients for the cake and blend until smooth & thick
- 2. Pour the cake batter into a microwave safe ramekin/cup
- 3. Make the cinnamon swirl by whisking together the applesauce, coconut sugar and cinnamon until smooth
- 4. Drizzle the cinnamon sauce over the cake batter in a spiral shape
- 5. Microwave for 90 seconds
- 6. Allow the cake to cool slightly before eating
