Whats your favourite vegetable to blend into smoothies?! Mine would be pumpkin & cauliflower, so if course I had to incorporate BOTH of them when making this super easy, luscious bowl as my post workout meal the other day, and yes, it definitely hit the spot 👌🏼
Cauliflower is so neutral that you can basically add it to anything for extra volume and thickness, and there’s something magical about the flavour of pumpkin that warms your heart even when you’re eating it in frozen form Yum yum yum!
Here is the recipe:
PUMPKIN PIE PROTEIN SMOOTHIE BOWL
(gluten-free, refined sugar free, high-protein)
INGREDIENTS:

1 x frozen banana (~150g)

1/4 cup frozen steamed cauliflower

1 cup frozen steamed pumpkin (~150g)

1 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder

1 teaspoon pumpkin spice (or just cinnamon)

1/4 cup almond milk
METHOD:

Simply blend all the ingredients together in high-speed blender until smooth & thick.

Transfer into a bowl and top with whatever your heart desires 🤩
My toppings included @macr0mike protein brownies, @blissfitfoods hazelnut granola, pistachio & walnuts.
