Secrete ingredients:
1️⃣ Miso paste (for extra umami savoury flavour)
2️⃣ Cinnamon (for extra dimension of sweet spice)
2️⃣ Cocoa powder (the slight bitterness helps to balance out the acidity and sweetness of the tomatoes)
4️⃣ Soy sauce (gives the chilli a rounder, “meatier” flavour)
(QUANTITIES based on a batch that serves 4: 1 tsp miso, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon soy sauce) *but please adjust as you like 😇
My boyfriend has been making giant batches of the best vegan chilli ever! The other week we had it with our first-ever homemade sourdough loaf and it was amazing!! I also served mine with an avocado topped with @pimp.my.salad seeds 👌🏼 So comforting and so delicious.
