4-INGREDIENT GIANT SINGLE SERVE PROTEIN SNICKERS POD

Getting creative with my protein bars & powders and created this giant protein pod for something a little fun!  One of these pods contain 30g+ of plant protein, making it such a great post-workout treat!! You can experiment using various protein bars or raw bars for the base and also with different nut butters too, but I’m definitely very happy with how good mine turned out!

Here is the recipe:

4-INGREDIENT GIANT SINGLE SERVING PROTEIN SNICKERS POD
(gluten-free, oil-free, no-bake, high-protein)

Base:
  • 1 x soft protein bar (I used @macr0mike game changer protein bar)
Filling:
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon vegan protein ( I used @macr0mike PB cheesecake)
  • 1 tablespoon natural peanut butter ( I used @byronbaypeanutbutter smooth)
Topping:
  • 25g vegan dark chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vegan protein powder
METHOD:
  1. Line a muffin tin or small bowl with non -stick paper
  2. Make the BASE: Remove the protein bar from the packaging. Place it in a plate and microwave for 30-60 seconds until it is softened. Working quickly,  mould the protein bar in the prepared tin/bowl as a thin base layer
  3. Make the FILLING: mix the almond milk, peanut butter and protein powder until thick and no clumps remain. Spread as an even layer of the base. Set in the freezer to set for 1 hour
  4. Make the TOPPING: melt the chocolate in short bursts in the microwave. Whilst the chocolate is hot, stir in the protein powder until it dissolves. Pour the chocolate layer over the filling. Return to freezer to set for 10 mins before serving.
**Store in the fridge if you aren’t going to eat it in one go!

I hope you guys get creative with this little hack 🙂
